The ferris wheel goes into the aquarium whereas a usual ferris wheel goes round in the sky only. On this ferris wheel the gondolas dive into the water at the bottom half of their journey where passengers experience the aquarium.

観覧車は、高い位置からの景観を楽しむためのものであり、種々のタイプのものが運転されている
が「水中・空中観覧車」は、空中での景観を楽しむだけでなく、連続して水中の景観（海洋生物）
も楽しむことができます。
海岸、湖畔、人工池や遊園地やテーマパークなど適宜の場所に設置できる「水中・空中観覧車」。
簡単な構造物である透明素材のケーシングを観覧車とは別に、水中から水上にかけて敷設すること
によって、ゴンドラを気密に構成する必要はありません。
トラブルにより観覧車が停止しても、ケーシング上部が開口されているので、適宜の方法で容易に
脱出することができます。

Ferris wheels are usually leisure facilities which offer passengers the enjoyment of the scenery from a height and there are various types of ferris wheels however this type of ferris wheel is a new type. The sky-water ferris wheel offers passengers not only the scenery from the sky but also an aquarium experience whilst in the gondolas.
Sky-water ferris wheel can be constructed by the sea, lake/pond or in a theme park and leisure land.
The gondolas move inside a transparent chamber built within the water tank and there is no need for each gondola to be airtight.
In case of emergency, the top of the chamber will be opened for passengers to escape.
Patent registered in Japan (01 May 2008)
